The LH351 series has form factor 3.5mm x 3.5mm, which allows for exceptionally easy design enhancements without changing the printed circuit board or the second optic solution. This newly expanded ceramic-based, high-power package series is expected to help lower the total cost of ownership for LED lights, and reduce time-to-market for LED lighting manufacturers. Samsung’s LH351C is based on the same proven flip-chip, phosphor processing and optic extraction technologies as the LH351B and LH351D. Its advanced phosphor film enables optimized light distribution with enhanced light quality, compared to widely-used conformal phosphor coating. In addition, the LH351C simplifies the design of lighting solutions that use a second optic lens, making it particularly well-suited for high-density street lighting that requires complex lighting distribution designs.
