The 135D series axial leaded Wet Tantalum Capacitor with glass-to-tantalum hermetic seal. This capacitor incorporates the advantages of all the varieties of electrolytic capacitors and eliminate most of the disadvantages. These units have a 3V reverse voltage capability at 85°C and a higher ripple current capability than any other electrolytic type with similar combinations of capacitance and case size. They are designed for the aerospace applications and this capacitor was developed under partial sponsorship of the Marshall Space Fight Centre (MSFC), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
