DsPIC33CH512MP508 motor control PIM (MA330045) is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the dsPIC33CH512MP508 device. The devices from the dsPIC33CH512MP508 family are dual core DSCs. The dsPIC33CH512MP508 has two Digital Signal Controller (DSC) cores can run independently at different device frequencies. This motor control PIM is designed to take advantage of the high-resolution PWM (with fine edge placement) peripheral. The PWM along with other peripherals such as the ADC, enable motor control applications. The PIM can be used to demonstrate and develop motor control applications by inserting it in the 100pin PIM interface header provided on the compatible motor control development boards.
