LDH40PURY is a high-accuracy voltage regulator designed to be directly connected to a car battery in automotive applications, or a generic battery connected in industrial applications. Extended input voltage of up to 40V makes the device capable of supporting a load dump transient, typical in automotive systems. Ultra-low quiescent current at light load increases the battery operation lifetime in always-on-standby systems. This device is stabilized with a small ceramic capacitor on the input and output. An enable logic control function puts the device in shutdown mode allowing a total current consumption lower than 0.3µA. Thermal protection is also included. It is used in applications such as EV powertrains, body control modules, always-on battery connected applications, infotainment and instrument cluster, ADAS.

- Input voltage range from 3.3V to 40V, ADJ Vout from 1.2V to 22V
- Power good, logic-controlled electronic shutdown
- Internal current limit, thermal shutdown, 200mA guaranteed output current
- Dropout voltage is 700mV typical at (IOUT = 200mA; VOUT = 97% of VOUT (NOM))
- Output voltage accuracy is +0.5% maximum at (TJ = 25°C)
- Output noise voltage is 100µVRMS typ at (VIN = 3V; VOUT (NOM) = 1.2V; 10Hz to 100KHz, IOUT = 1mA)
- Quiescent current during regulation is 2µA typical at (VIN from 3.3V to 40V no load)
- Standby current is 0.3µA typical at (VIN = 32V)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 150°C, DFN6 (2x2 wettable flanks) package
