ECS640A is an ecoSpin™ BLDC motor controller +MCU. The newest member of the ecoSpin™ family of configurable motor controllers, is a 3−phase BLDC motor controller that integrates a ultra-low-power optimized arm Cortex-M0+ microcontroller, three sense amplifiers and a reference amplifier (NCS20034), three bootstrap diodes, and a high-voltage gate−driver designed for high-voltage, high-speed operation, with the ability to drive MOSFETs and IGBTs operating up to 600V (FAN73896). Six gate driver outputs provide sink/source of 350mA/650mA (typ) gate current to external power devices. Protection functions include under-voltage lockout and inverter over-current trip with an automatic fault-clear function. Applications are refrigeration compressors and blowers, HVAC blowers and condensers, pool pumps, industrial drives and pumps, robotics, refrigerators, bottle coolers, consumer A/C units, HVAC blowers, commercial A/C units.
