MPFS250-VIDEO-KIT

MPFS250-VIDEO-KIT is a PolarFire® SoC video kit. This is the industry’s first RISC V SoC FPGA- based, full-featured embedded vision development platform. The kit supports dual 4K MIPI CSI-2 cameras, HDMI 2.0 with FMC-based expansion towards CoaXPress 2.0, 6/12G SDI, 1/ 2.5/ 5/ 10G USXGMII, and USB 3.1 Gen1 and Gen2 protocols. It also includes USB 2.0, SD Card, eMMC, PCIe Gen2x4 endpoint or root port, and a MikroBus connector facilitate Microchip’s Trust & Go platform for cloud connectivity. This platform targeting secure, reliable, and power-efficient vision applications at the edge, including Microchip’s VectorBlox Accelerator SDK and Neural Network IP, and Industrial IoT and Automation.

• SiFive U54 application cores (4 x RV64GC) and secure boot, Sony 4K dual camera sensors (IMX334)
• Programming and Debugging: onboard JTAG or (multiplexed) onboard embedded FlashPro
• Memory: 4GB DDR4 x 64, 2GB LPDDR4 x 32, 1GB SPI flash, 8GB eMMC flash and SD card slot (multiplexed)
• User defined I/O: 4x LEDs, 4x user push buttons, 1x DIP switch (x 4)
• Expansion connectors: 1x VITA 57.1 HPC FMC, PCIe Gen2 x 4, 1x Mikrobus socket
• Communication and networking: 4 x UART (through USB bridge), 1 x CAN-FD header
• 2 x GbE RJ-45 connectors, 1 x microUSB high-speed USB 2.0 OTG, 1 x I2C (through USB bridge)
• Imaging and Video: HDMI2.0 video output/input, MIPI DSI output, MIPI CSI-2 input
• 50MHz MEMS oscillator clocking, 12V DC power supply
