MIC5205-3.3YM5-TR is an efficient linear voltage regulator. It is specially designed for hand-held, battery-powered devices, the MIC5205 includes a CMOS or TTL-compatible enable/shutdown control input. When shut down, power consumption drops nearly to zero. Regulator ground current increases only slightly in dropout, further prolonging battery life. Key MIC5205 features include a reference bypass pin to improve its already excellent low-noise performance, reversed-battery protection, current limiting, and over-temperature shutdown. Applications include cellular telephones, laptop, notebook, and palmtop computers, battery-powered equipment, PCMCIA VCC and VPP regulation/switching, consumer/personal electronics, SMPS post-regulator and DC/DC modules, and high-efficiency linear power supplies.

- Output voltage temperature coefficient is 40ppm/°C typical at (TJ = +25°C)
- Load regulation is 0.02% typical at (IL = 0.1mA to 150mA, TJ = +25°C)
- Dropout voltage is 10mV typical at (IL = 100µA, VIN = VOUT +1V; IL = 100µA; CL = 1.0µF)
- Quiescent current is 1µA max at (VEN ≤ 0.4V (shutdown), VIN = VOUT +1V; IL = 100µA; CL = 1.0µF)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 5-lead SOT-23 package
