The MAX8511EXK18+T is an ultra low noise, high PSRR low dropout linear regulator with fixed output in 5 pin SC-70 package. This linear regulator is designed to deliver up to 120mA continuous output current. Designed with P-channel MOSFET series pass transistor, the MAX8511 maintains very low ground current of 40µA. The regulator is designed and optimized to work with low value and low cost ceramic capacitors. The MAX8511 does not require a bypass capacitor, hence achieving the smallest PC board area. Typical application include base stations, Bluetooth® portable radios and accessories, cellular and cordless phones, digital cameras, PDA and palmtop computers, personal stereos, portable and battery powered equipment and wireless LANs.
