The MAX6301ESA+T is a +5V, low power microprocessor (μP) supervisory circuit with adjustable reset/watchdog in 8 pin NSOIC package. This supervisory circuit provides maximum adjustability for reset and watchdog functions. The reset threshold can be adjusted to any voltage above 1.22V using external resistors. In addition, the reset and watchdog timeout periods are adjustable using external capacitors. A watchdog select pin extends watchdog timeout period to 500x. The reset function has immunity to power supply transients. The MAX6301 is used in intelligent instruments, battery powered computers/controllers, embedded controllers and critical μP monitoring applications.
- Supply voltage range from 1.2V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- Supply current of 4μA (no load)
- Complementary RESET asserted at or above VCC = 1V
- Watchdog function can be disabled
- Active-low, open-drain reset output
- Reset timeout period of 4ms at CSRT = 1500pF
- Watchdog timeout period of 2sec at WDS = VCC, CSWT = 1500pF
