The MAX4899EETE+T is an USB 2.0 high speed, fault tolerant, dual 3:1 multiplexer in 16 pin TQFN package. This analogue multiplexer combines low on-capacitance (CON) and low on-resistance (RON) necessary for high performance switching applications. It is designed for USB 2.0 high speed applications at 480Mbps. The MAX4899EETE+T features two digital inputs, C0 and C1 to control analogue signal path. Typical applications include switching a USB connector between USB and other operations such as serial communications, audio and video. An enable input (active-low EN ) is provided to disable all channels and place device into a high impedance (off) state as well as reducing power consumption. It operates from a 2.7V to 3.6V power supply voltage and protected against +5.5V shorts to COMA- and COMA+. In addition, COMA+ and COMA- are normally connected to outside circuitry and feature ±15KV ESD protection.

- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- 25pC enable charge injection at CL = 1000pF and 425MHz -3dB bandwidth
- Fault tolerant to meet full USB 2.0 specification
- Low operating current (200µA), ultra low quiescent current of 3.0µA (max) in standby mode
- Low threshold eliminates need for translators in 1.8V low voltage systems
- Crosstalk of -50dB at f = 50MHz and off-isolation of -45dB at f = 50MHz
- 0.8ohm maximum on-resistance match between channels and 1.1ohm on-resistance flatness at TA = +25°C
- Off leakage current of ±1μA and on-leakage current of ±1μA
- Handles all the requirements for USB low and full speed signalling
