MAX22166CAEE+ is a six-channel, reinforced, fast, low-power digital galvanic isolator using analogue devices’ proprietary process technology. It features reinforced isolation with a withstand voltage rating of 3KVRMS for 60 seconds. The low-power features reduce system dissipation, increase reliability, and enable compact designs. This device features low propagation delay and low clock jitter, which reduces system latency. It features independent 1.71V to 5.5V supplies on each side also make the device suitable for use as level translators. It is approved by UL according to UL1577, cUL according to CSA bulletin 5A. It is used in applications such as hybrid electric vehicle, chargers, battery management system (BMS), and inverters.
- VDDA supply voltage range from 1.71V to 5.5V, 3KVRMS isolation voltage
- Input hysteresis is 80mV typical at (VDDA - VGNDA = 1.71V to 5.5V)
- Input capacitance is 2pF typical at (VDDA - VGNDA = 1.71V to 5.5V)
- Common-mode transient immunity is 50kV/µs typical at (TA = +25°C)
- Minimum pulse width is 5ns maximum at (2.25V ≤ VDD- ≤ 5.5V)
- Propagation delay is 6.2ns typical at (4.5V ≤ VDD- ≤ 5.5V)
- Pulse width distortion is 0.4ns typical at (4.5V ≤ VDD- ≤ 5.5V)
- Clock jitter RMS is 11.1ps typical at (500KHz clock input, rising/falling edges)
- 6/0 channel configuration, 200Mbps data rate, high default output
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 16-pin QSOP package
