MAX13234EEUP+

The MAX13234EEUP+ is a ±15KV ESD protected, 250Kbps RS232 transceiver with low voltage interface in 20 pin TSSOP package. This 2x2 RS232 and V.28/V.24 transceiver with data rate of 250Kbps operates from either a 3.3V or 5V supply. It has an AutoShutdown Plus feature that achieves 1μA shutdown current and reduces power consumption. The device automatically enters a low power shutdown mode when the RS232 cable is disconnected or the device driving the transmitter and receiver inputs are inactive for more than 30 seconds.

• Integrated low voltage logic for easy interface with ASICs and microcontrollers
• Integrated ±15KV HBM ESD protection
• Integrated charge pump circuitry requiring only four external 0.1μF capacitors for 3.3V operation
