The PTH08T220WAD is a 1-output 88W through hole-mount non-isolated adjust Power Module with TurboTrans™. This module represents the 2nd generation of the popular PTH series power modules and include a reduced footprint and improved features. Operating from an input voltage range of 4.5 to 14V, the PTH08T220W requires a single resistor to set the output voltage to any value over the range, 0.69 to 5.5V. The wide input voltage range makes the PTH08T220W particularly suitable for advanced computing and server applications that utilize a loosely regulated 8 to 12V intermediate distribution bus. Additionally, the wide input voltage range increases design flexibility by supporting operation with tightly regulated 5, 8 or 12V intermediate bus architectures. The module incorporates a comprehensive list of features. Output over-current and over-temperature shutdown protects against most load faults. A differential remote sense ensures tight load regulation.
