MC33CD1030AER2 is a 33 channel multiple switch detection interface with programmable wetting current. It is designed to detect the closing and opening of up to 33 switch contacts. The switch status, either open or closed, is transferred to the microprocessor unit (MCU) through a serial peripheral interface. This SMARTMOS device also features a 35-to-1 analogue multiplexer for reading the input channels as analogue inputs. The analogue selected input signal is buffered and provided on the AMUX output pin for the MCU to read. Independent programmable wetting currents are available as needed for the application. Application includes heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, central gateway / in-vehicle networking, gasoline engine management (automotive), programmable logic control (PLC), process control, temperature control, input-output control (I/O Control), single board computer, ethernet switch (industrial).
- Fully functional operation 4.5V ≤ VBATP ≤ 36, full parametric operation 6.0V ≤ VBATP ≤ 28V
- Operating switch input voltage range from -1.0V to 36V
- 12 programmable inputs (switches to battery or ground), 21 switch-to-ground inputs
- Interfaces directly to an MCU using 3.3V / 5.0V SPI protocol
- Logic low-power mode supply current is 10μA max (SCLK, MOSI = 0V, CS-B, INT-B, WAKE-B = VDDQ)
- VBATP supply voltage POR range from 2.7 to 3.8V (TA = - 40°C to +125°C)
- Switch detection threshold range from 3.7 to 4.3V (TA = - 40°C to +125°C)
- Chip temperature sensor coefficient is 8.0mV/°C typ (TA = - 40 to +125°C, VDDQ = 3.1 to 5.25V)
- Temperature monitor range from 155 to 185°C (TA = - 40 to +125°C, VDDQ = 3.1 to 5.25V)
- 48-pin LQFP-EP package, ambient operating temperature -40°C to 125°C
