Elettronica di bordo e illuminazione

L'elettronica di bordo controlla molti dei sistemi che non controllano direttamente il motore o l'elettronica. Alcuni di tali sistemi riguardano i tergicristalli, i finestrini, la chiusura delle portiere e l'impianto di climatizzazione. L'elettronica di bordo controlla inoltre i fari e l'illuminazione interna, così come la regolazione dei sedili qualora essa sia elettrica. Data l'ampia gamma di funzionalità, l'elettronica di bordo richiede a sua volta un'ampia gamma di ingressi e di uscite.

	LDR Gli LDR servono a rilevare il livello di luminosità. Vengono utilizzati nei fari automatici. Utilizzando un LDR a infrarossi insieme a un LED a infrarossi è possibile realizzare tergicristalli automatici.		MOSFET I MOSFET servono ad aumentare la potenza, ma in misura minore rispetto a un amplificatore di potenza, ad esempio nei motori passo-passo o nei motori CC a bassa potenza.
	Potenziometri I potenziometri vengono utilizzati per i vari ingressi analogici presenti nell'auto, come i quadranti dell'impianto di climatizzazione e del controllo volume.		MCU Il microcontrollore è l'unità di controllo centrale, che regola e gestisce tutti i sistemi.
	Termistori I termistori sono utilizzati in tutta l'auto per rilevare la temperatura: solo per citare qualche esempio, negli spazi interni per la climatizzazione, nei tubi dove scorra l'aria e nel motore.		RTC Gli RTC sono necessari per una temporizzazione precisa. Grazie ad essi, tutti i sistemi all'interno dell'auto sono sincronizzati.
	Interruttori Gli interruttori comprendono tutti gli interruttori digitali che vengono utilizzati per i vari sistemi, come illuminazione, finestrini e chiusura delle portiere.		Flash La memoria flash viene usata come memoria non volatile per memorizzare programmi, impostazioni e dati permanenti.
	Convertitore analogico-digitale I convertitori analogico-digitale servono a convertire i segnali analogici, come quelli provenienti da termistori o potenziometri, in segnali digitali che possono essere ricevuti tramite I2C o SPI. Queste informazioni vengono poi utilizzate dal microcontrollore.		RAM La memoria RAM è memoria volatile ad accesso rapido che viene usata per dati variabili e per memorizzare informazioni temporanee.
	Convertitore digitale-analogico I convertitori digitale-analogico servono a convertire segnali digitali provenienti da un microcontrollore in segnali d'uscita analogici, ad esempio per un elemento riscaldante o un motore CC.		Elementi riscaldanti Gli elementi riscaldanti vengono usati nell'impianto di climatizzazione per riscaldare l'aria.
	Amplificatori di potenza Gli amplificatori di potenza servono per amplificare segnali analogici o per aumentare la corrente e la tensione di un ingresso digitale. Vengono usati per alimentare motori o per amplificare l'uscita di LDR o termistori.		Lampadine Le lampadine possono essere usate sia all'interno sia all'esterno, per i fari o per l'illuminazione interna.
	Driver per illuminazione I driver per illuminazione servono a controllare le lampadine non LED, come i fari o alcune luci interne.		LED I LED possono essere usati sia all'interno sia all'esterno, per i fari o per l'illuminazione interna.
	Driver LED I driver LED servono a controllare i LED, ad esempio nei fari o nelle luci interne.		Motori passo-passo I motori passo-passo vengono utilizzati nei motori di precisione a bassa velocità e a coppia elevata, come per esempio quelli per il controllo dei finestrini, la chiusura delle portiere, i tergicristalli, ecc.
