The Telecom series SMD Multilayer Varistor is designed by a glass encapsulated process to ensure high insulation resistance values after reflow soldering and excellent SMT compatibility. This protection ensures reliability and acid resistance against harsh environment like chlorite flux. It is mainly used to reduce transient overvoltage in a very wide range of electronic products.
- Effective alternative to leaded MOVs between 60 and 90VRSM
- High energy ratings up to 6J with 1812 case size
- Nickel barrier or hybrid AgPdPt terminations
- Multiple-strike capability
- Provide EMC capacitance
- Specified in accordance to CCITT 10/1000μs pulse test
