SA31NA30P is a Raspberry Pi standard NOIR Camera Module 3 sensor assembly. It contains the same sensor and autofocus functionalities as Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 AF (autofocus), enabling to integrate the features of Camera Module 3 into a more diverse range of form factors. This assembly provides a low-cost way to add imaging capability to smaller devices, reducing manufacturing complexity and time to market. As with Camera Module 3, the sensor assembly’s operation is fully supported by the libcamera library and the libcamera-based Picamera2 and rpicam-apps libraries, including its rapid autofocus feature, this provides a robust software environment to support the development of advanced features while making essential functionality simple to provide.
