Product Overview
UJA1166ATK/0Z is a high-speed CAN transceiver with 5V LDO and sleep mode. It contains an ISO 11898-2:2016 and SAE J2284-1 to SAE J2284-5 compliant HS-CAN transceiver with an integrated 5V low-dropout linear voltage regulator. The 5V regulator provides the internal CAN supply and can also be used to supply additional discrete CAN transceivers or other onboard loads. The UJA1166A can be operated in very-low-current Sleep mode with local and bus wake-up capability. It can be controlled by a microcontroller supplied from an independent 3.3V or 5V supply. This implementation enables reliable communication in the CAN FD fast phase at data rates up to 5Mbit/s.

- Autonomous bus biasing according to ISO 11898-6
- Bus connections are truly floating when power to pin BAT is off
- Power-on detection threshold voltage range from 4.2 to 4.55V (VBAT rising, Tvj = -40 to +150°C)
- Output voltage is 5V typ (VBAT = 5.5 to 28V, VTXD = VV1, IV1 = -120 to 0mA)
- Switching threshold voltage range from 0.25VIO to 0.75VIO (Tvj = -40 to +150°C)
- Dominant output voltage range from 2.75 to 4.5V (pin CANH, RL = 50 to 65ohm, Tvj = -40 to +150°C)
- Leakage current range from -5 to +5µA (VBAT = VV1 = 0V or VBAT = VV1 = shorted to ground via 47Kohm)
- HVSON14 package, virtual junction temperature range from -40 to +150°C
