Product Overview
XF-1050-FAR is an IEC mineral insulated thermocouple with PFA lead. Construction is flexible mineral insulated probe with stainless steel sheath, plain pot seal & 1metre extension cable. Tolerances of materials used in the manufacture conform to class 1 specification to relevant BS EN 60584 standards. Type J-321 stainless steel sheath provides excellent corrosion resistance, retains good ductile properties to suit a wide range of industrial applications & processes. Typical applications include heat treatment & annealing furnaces, aluminium heat treatment, chemical reactors, plastic/rubber moulding industry, polythene manufacture, coal plants, paper mills, textile industry etc.
- Sensor type is Type ‘J’ (iron/constantan)
- 3mm probe diameter, 150mm probe length
- Black colour cable jacket, black/white tails (+pos/-neg)
- Mineral insulated thermocouple to IEC 584, probe temperature range from -40°C to +750°C
- Highly flexible, sheath can be bent/formed to suit many applications and processes
- Insulated hot junction, plain pot seal (200°C)
- 1 metre 7/0.2mm PFA PTFE insulated flat pair cable and tails (colour coded to IEC 584)
- Manufactured using materials to IEC 584 class 1 specification
- Single element, junction insulated from sheath (protection against spurious electrical signals)
- 1m 7/0.2mm PFA PTFE insulated flat pair cable termination, colour coded in accordance with IEC 584
