MAX7325ATG+

The MAX7325ATG+ is an I2C port expander with 8 push-pull and 8 open-drain I/Os in 24 pin TQFN package. This 2-wire serial interfaced peripheral device has 16 I/O ports. Ports are divided into eight push-pull outputs and eight I/Os with selectable internal pull-ups and transition detection. Eight ports are push-pull outputs and eight I/Os may be used as a logic input or an open-drain output. All I/O ports configured as inputs are continuously monitored for state changes (transition detection). State changes are indicated by active-low INT output. The interrupt is latched allowing detection of transient changes. The active-low RST input clears serial interface by terminating any I2C communication to or from MAX7325.

• Operating Supply voltage range from 1.71V to 5.5V
• Automotive temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
• 400KHz I2C serial interface
• Open-drain outputs are rated to sink 20mA and are capable of driving LEDs
• Selectable I/O port power-up default logic states
• Transient changes are latch allowing detection between read operations
• I/O ports are overvoltage protected to +6V
• Standby current (interface idle) of 0.6μA at TA = -40°C to 125°C and power-on reset voltage of 1.6V
• Supply current (interface running) of 23μA at TA = -40°C to 125°C
