Product Overview
AD7477AAKSZ-500RL7 is a 10-bit, high-speed, low-power, successive-approximation analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). The part operates from a single 2.35V to 5.25V power supply and features throughput rates up to 1MSPS. The part contains a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 13MHz. The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using (active-low)CS and the serial clock, allowing the devices to interface with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of (active-low)CS, and the conversion is also initiated at this point. There are no pipeline delays associated with the parts. It is used in applications such as battery-powered systems, personal digital assistants, medical instruments, mobile communications, instrumentation and control systems, data acquisition systems, high-speed modems, and optical sensors.

- Conversion time is 700ns maximum at (VDD = 2.35V to 5.25V)
- Power dissipation normal mode (operational) is 17.5mW maximum at (VDD = 5V, fSAMPLE = 1MSPS)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, 6-lead SC70 package
