Product Overview

The ISO35TEVM is an evaluation module used to evaluate the ISO35T PROFIBUS transceiver. The ISO35T is an isolated differential line transceiver with integrated oscillator outputs that provide the primary voltage for an isolation transformer. The device is a full duplex differential line transceiver for RS 485 and RS 422 applications that can easily be configured for half duplex operation by connecting pin 11 to pin 14, and pin 12 to pin 13. The ISO3086T RS 485 transceiver or the ISO1176T RS 485 transceiver devices are similar the same printed circuit board is used for all three evaluation modules. One manual supports for all three devices. The evaluation module can be used to evaluate device parameters while acting as a guide for board layout. The board allows for the connection of 50ohm coaxial cables via QuiteZone connectors. It also provides easy connection points for oscilloscope probes. Banana jacks are provided for connection of dc power supplies.
