Product Overview
AD5640BRJZ-1REEL7 is a nanoDAC™, low power, single, 14bit, buffered voltage-out DAC and is guaranteed monotonic by design. This device's on-chip precision output amplifier allows rail-to-rail output swing to be achieved. For remote sensing applications, the output amplifier’s inverting input is available to the user. This device uses a versatile 3-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates upto 30MHz and is compatible with standard SPI®, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and DSP interface standards. It is used in applications such as process control, data acquisition systems, portable battery-powered instruments, digital gain and offset adjustment, programmable voltage and current sources, and programmable attenuators.

- Serial interface with Schmitt-triggered inputs, rail-to-rail operation

- Differential nonlinearity is ±0.5LSB maximum at (VDD = 4.5V to 5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
- Output voltage settling time is 8µs typical at (¼ to ¾ scale change settling to ±2LSB)
- Slew rate is 1.5V/µs typical at (¼ to ¾ scale, VDD = 4.5V to 5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND)
- Output noise spectral density is 80nV/√Hz typical at (DAC code = midscale, 10KHz)
- Reference TC is ±10ppm/°C typical at (VDD = 4.5V to 5.5V, RL = 2Kohm to GND, CL = 200pF to GND)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C, 8-lead SOT-23 package
